Creative Kids of Downingtown at 1424 Poorhouse Road, Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

My daughter has attended Creative Kids for two months now. She started at 11 months and was put in their 9-14 month class. She took about three weeks to transition. She was the only one in her class that wasn't walking yet but she learned within a month of being there. It didn't slow her down one bit! The hardest was switching to one nap a day instead of two. Her teachers worked with her on the transition by letting her sleep in the cribs in the infant rooms if she got tired before scheduled nap time. She would only cry when I left and usually calmed down very soon after I left the building. There were so many toys and other kids to play with. The teachers also would comfort her as soon as I dropped her off. I've seen it done for any kid that starts crying or is visible upset. They rush over to comfort the child until they calm down.

They have great food for snack and meal time but I'm not a huge stickler for what she's eating right now. I just want her to try as many things as possible. Nothing on the menu is terrible. There are things like animal crackers and pretzels for snack but I'm ok with that stuff.

Also, this was one of the cheapest daycare centers in our area. If you went with someone who did daycare out of their home it might be a lot cheaper but we didn't know anyone in the area well enough to do that option.

Overall, I was worried about my daughters transition but she did great! And its all because of her excellent teachers and staff at Creative Kids.

We are so happy here! The kindergarten and pre K programs are wonderful.
